Andy Cohen wasn’t spared from being thrown into hot water at BravoCon this weekend and was put in the hot seat while taping his late night show.
See what’s happening live! The host will record a series of specials during the three-day convention in Las Vegas, which will air throughout the week on Bravo. Saturday night’s theme was “Charming House Rules,” which brought together cast members from shows like Southern Charm, Summer House, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard and Vanderpump Rules.
Cohen has a segment every night called “Squash the Beef,” which is popular with fans because it brings together various Bravolebrities who have “beefs” with each other. Cohen tugged on the seedy wave to bring out Carl Radke from “Summer House” and Amir Lancaster from “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.” The stars had a falling out after Lancaster revealed on Cohen’s show that he had pushed his way into Radke’s DMs asking about a job opportunity, but the message was never answered.
“Check your DMs. I wrote him back immediately and sent him a link to apply. They saw it and then went on Watch What Happens Live and said I didn’t write back. “What the hell?” said Radke.
Lancaster responded by saying, “He ain’t fucking wrong. See, what happened was that I asked you for a job, and then I was too busy sending Andy a direct message, so it must have been lost in translation that he reached out to me , and I probably thought that Andy didn’t come back to me.”
Cohen unexpectedly ran afoul of Lancaster, eventually taking Radke’s place in the Squash the Beef game and having to answer for himself.
“I’ll tell you this: If I had seen a DM from you in my DMs, you would have trusted and believed that I would have responded,” Cohen said.
In the end, Cohen got the short end of the stick with Lancaster and there was a lot of fun and games at BravoCon.
