Approximately 420,000 workers represented by the Common Front will strike on Monday, November 6th.

The strike in schools is planned to last until 10 a.m., while classes are scheduled to resume in the morning or early afternoon, depending on the school service centers.

In the health sector, certain essential services provided for by law are maintained to ensure primary care.

THE November 8th and 9th Next year, the Interprofessional Health Federation of Quebec (FIQ), which represents 80,000 members, will also go on strike, while the 65,000 members of the Autonomous Education Federation (FAE) will launch an indefinite general strike on September 17 November 23rd.
