Portal An Israeli attack on a car in southern Lebanon killed three children and their grandmother on Sunday, a Hezbollah lawmaker from the region said, calling the attack a “dangerous event” for which Israel would pay a price.
MP Hassan Fadlallah said the mother of the three children girls aged between 8 and 14 was injured in the attack on the car, which was traveling between the villages of Aynata and Aitaroun, near the border with Israel.
“The enemy will pay the price for its crimes against civilians,” Fadlallah said in a statement to Portal.

Asked about earlier reports from security sources in Lebanon that an Israeli attack in a car near Aynata had left three people dead, an Israeli army spokesman said the army would issue a statement later on Sunday about an attack in Publish Lebanon.
Israel and the heavily armed, Iranianbacked Hezbollah have been exchanging fire across the border since Israel entered the war against the Palestinians on October 7. It was the worst case of border violence since the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah.
