In a duel at the top, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys 28-23 at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
Jalen Hurts was a little less proactive than his counterpart Dak Prescott, but he still got people talking about his talent. Early in the third quarter, the Eagles’ quarterback delivered an outstanding 29-yard pass to DeVonta Smith. The latter caught the ball in the end zone for the Eagles (8:1) and gave his team a 21:17 lead.

Hurts finished his night with two touchdown passes and entered the pay zone after a one-yard run. He also rushed for 207 yards and connected with his teammates 17 times on 23 attempts.
The Cowboys (5-3) were in good stead in this matchup, as they led for much of the first period. Prescott managed an impressive 375 yards through the air. He also found his receivers in the Philadelphia club’s end zone three times.
Hurts’ teammates will face the Kansas City Chiefs on November 20th, and the Cowboys will host the New York Giants (2-7) on November 12th.
The Raiders unfold
The New York Giants’ season of misery continued as they fell to the Las Vegas Raiders (4-5) by a score of 30-6.
The Giants quarterback’s performance certainly won’t go down in history, as he suffered six sacks during the game before being replaced by Daniel Jones. The latter was not very skilled and completed only four of his nine attempts through the air for a gain of 75 yards.
From the start of the duel, the Raiders stepped on the gas and scored their three touchdowns in the first two meetings, thanks to Josh Jacobs (twice) and Jakobi Meyers.
They then mastered the rest of the game confidently. Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson also made three field goals, including one from 46 yards.
Las Vegas will cross swords with the New York Jets next Sunday.
