On Saturday, November 4, tens of thousands of people marched through the streets of Washington, DC, from Freedom Square to the White House, the largest demonstration in defense of the Palestinian people in US history. We broadcast the interviews of Mesías Rhodes, María Taracena and Hany Massoud from Democracy Now! to a number of demonstrators who expressed their rejection of the US government’s support for Israel and called for a ceasefire in Gaza. We are also broadcasting fragments of speeches given during the protest, including by lawyer Noura Erakat, musician Macklemore and writer Mohammed El-Kurd.
