With a touch of humor, the comedian explained to us: “I underwent an intervention last week. I had trigger finger, carpal tunnel and right knee surgery because this summer I was doing sports that were far too extreme for me, e.g. B. had suffered a torn meniscus during a walk in the forest! (laughs)” This is the second time Philippe Laprise has injured his right knee. The first time he injured his knee was trying to get on a paddle board, but he continued his activities.
“During a shoot, I got into a vehicle and the meniscus tore just from the rotation. I then had the first operation.” For this second knee operation, his surgeon decided to fix the problems in his hand at the same time, as the recovery times were equivalent. So three procedures in one operation! A few days later he took the stage. “I did the show sitting down. People were really happy to see me because they saw on social media that I had just had surgery. The comedian, who is touring with the show Why Not, needs to pay attention to his right knee because it could require more serious surgery next time. “I was told I could have a brand new one in 10 years!”
