When the singer J Balvin became famous, all I could think of was José Luis Balbín. Even when the surname Pombo came up in certain conversations, I only thought of its most famous bearer, Álvaro, and not of today’s most famous landmarks, the Pombo sisters, with María at the head. This sonorous surname, Pombo, will give the title to the four-chapter documentary miniseries that Prime Video says it has dedicated to “one of the most influential families of content creators in Spain.” We came across the content. Speaking of content, the best thing we’ve seen in the last few days comes from Anabel Pantoja’s trip to Paris. Seeing her excitedly standing in front of the Louvre pyramid and remembering that The Da Vinci Code was filmed there – who the hell remembers The Da Vinci Code? – and that the series “Lupine” or “at Disneyland” is the comedy of the month. We haven’t heard about the documentary project he did in the Canary Islands, but if Netflix is smart, which they are, he’ll have his own documentary reality there soon. Hopefully.
