The first two matches for the WWE Survivor Series 2023 announced – Catch-Newz

The PLE Crown Jewel 2023 is just over, but WWE is already ready for its next big event with Survivor Series 2023. The WWE RAW show on November 6, 2023 made it clear that Survivor Series is getting closer as two matches are scheduled for the PLE were announced.

First we learned that the Intercontinental Champion Günther will defend his title. On RAW, Miz, Ivar, Ricochet and Bronson Reed vied to determine Gunther’s next opponent, and it was the Miz who won the match by dodging and rolling a tsunami from Reed as he counted to three.

Miz and Gunther, who will face each other at Survivor Series for the Intercontinental Championship. Then in wrestling, Adam Pearce organized a battle royal to find Rhea Ripley’s opponent. It was Zoey Stark who was the last to stay in the ring and won the match by eliminating Shayna Baszler. Ripley vs. Zoey Stark for the Women’s Championship World is now official for Survivor Series.

These two announcements seem to confirm that Survivor Series will not be RAW vs. SmackDown as it has been in the past, as the RAW Champions will not face the SmackDown Champions. In the past, the Intercontinental champion would have had to face the United States champion and the women’s champions would have had to face each other.

Survivor Series 2023 will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023 and will feature at least one WarGames match.
