Lamb Of God "deeply sad" to the end of the search for the missing man during the Headbangers boat ride – MetalZone

Lamb Of God has spoken of its deep sadness after the search for a man who fell overboard on the Headbangers Boat cruise was called off after nine hours.

A 41-year-old man, whose name was not released, fell overboard the cruise ship near the Bahamas on Friday, November 3, as the four-day event came to an end.

The ship’s operators, Norwegian Cruise Line, and the US Coast Guard launched a search, but it was called off after nine hours and the ship returned to Miami, Florida.

In a statement, Lamb Of God said: “We are deeply saddened to learn that a member of our community has been involved in a tragic incident. We send love and light to his family and loved ones.”

Mastodon, Testament, Hatebreed and many others were also guests on the Headbangers Boat. The boat was traveling from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas.

On Saturday, Cruise co-host Riki Rachtman, who hosted MTV’s legendary Headbangers Ball, expressed his dismay at the news.
