Montreal Canadiens prospect Joe Vrbetic is last week’s ECHL goaltender.
The development group announced this on Monday.

The Trois-Rivières Lions representative posted two wins in as many starts against the Growlers of Newfoundland and Labrador from October 30 to November 5. Vrbetic allowed one goal on 26 shots in the first game and two goals on 29 shots in the second game.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper is playing his second professional season. In six games this year, he has maintained a record of 5-1-0, a save percentage of .897 and a goals-against average of 3.11.
The Ontario native was selected by the Habs in the seventh round (214th overall) of the 2021 draft.
The Lions return to action next Friday when they visit the Maine Mariners.
