Marie-Jeanne always preferred to stay away from the police, even though she had a child with Fred and agreed to become an informant. She hoped that she was no longer needed and that she was finished with the interrogations. She is therefore unhappy when Sophie comes to ask her more questions.
“Marie-Jeanne learns that Dan’s body has been found. What’s surprising is that the body wasn’t where everyone thought it was. The police want to find out how he got there. Without knowing what Marie-Jeanne has done, they are aware that she is one of the last people Dan saw alive. That’s why Sophie wants to question him. In fact, a lot of people have been involved in this story and they are becoming more and more worried since Sophie took over the investigation and doesn’t want to give it up anymore,” admits Sylvie Lussier.
A new stage

Since she has lived with Robert for many years, it is not easy for her to start over with another man. Many questions come to my mind. Marie-Paule continues to visit Marc Trempe regularly, even though he is never very nice to her. This time the man is nervous. He fears that Reginald has spoken to his psychiatrist about him and his plan to be declared unfit to stand trial will fail. If so, he will return to prison, something he wants to avoid at all costs. He feels the vice gripping him, and it is Marie-Paule who suffers the consequences of his bad mood. Things could be bad for her. But Marc Trempe doesn’t stop there: he has a very unpleasant surprise in store for those who meet him.

The other intrigues
At Ghislain’s funeral, the Guylaine-Nancy tandem did not go unnoticed. The girls had big plans to use the deceased’s money, and the fact that Jean-Michel was in charge until Zack came of age angered Nancy.
