There was further glamor at the Environmental Awards, held at The Theater at Mediacorp in Singapore, as Cate Blanchett, looking elegant in a cream embroidered trouser suit, posed for photos alongside the heir to the throne.

Stars from the world of show business traveled around the globe to attend the glittering ceremony – including US actor Sterling K. Brown and singer-songwriter Freya Ridings.

This year’s Eurovision presenter wore an oversized poppy to mark Remembrance Sunday this weekend and posed for photographers as she shook William’s hand.

Previously, Prince William admitted he believes the Green campaign is “an uphill battle” and wished the prize’s finalists good luck.

The awards aim to recognize solutions to “repair” the planet. Five category winners will each receive £1 million to further develop their environmental ideas.

The Prince of Wales, along with Hannah Jones, chief executive of the Earthshot Prize, met all 15 finalists shortlisted for the award at the foot of the world-famous Supertrees in Gardens by the Bay on Tuesday morning.

There he heard more about their projects and how the Earthshot community retreat in Singapore this week had helped them.
