- Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out a ceasefire or fuel delivery to Gaza until the hostages are released. The Israeli prime minister is calling for the release of the 241 hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip before a ceasefire.

- Washington says it opposes Israel’s “re-occupation” of the Gaza Strip.
