Cat Deeley is joining This Morning after Holly Willoughby left

Cat Deeley is “joining This Morning” after Holly Willoughby left the show and will make her sofa debut with co-host Rylan Clark

Cat Deeley has reportedly joined This Morning as presenter and will make her debut alongside Rylan Clark on November 13th.

The 47-year-old TV personality and actress will take to the famous sofa to co-host alongside popular star Rylan, who is currently guest presenting on the breakfast show alongside regular presenter Josie Gibson.

This comes after Holly Willoughby left the show last month “for the sake of her family” after discovering she was the target of a foiled kidnapping and murder plot, and has not been permanently replaced since.

This came five months after Philip Schofield’s departure after his affair with a young male showrunner became public, followed by claims of an increasingly strained relationship with his co-host.

Cat began her career as co-host of ITV children’s show SMTV Live, for which she won a BAFTA Children’s Award, and spin-off chart show CD:UK.

A source told the publication: “Cat is an experienced professional player and executives have been keen to sign her for some time.” She takes live television in stride and is very funny and personable with guests.

“She feels comfortable interviewing both pop stars and politicians. So if things go well, she could be a much more permanent solution to Holly’s departure.” Cat would be the safe captain who would stabilize the ship.

“Rylan has also been a huge success, so fans can expect to see a lot more of him in the future.”

ITV and Cat’s representatives have been contacted by Web for comment.

The bookmakers’ new favorite to be half of This Morning’s presenting team was announced last Thursday as fans praised her presenting skills.

William Hill has revealed that 35-year-old Rylan has a 5/4 chance of succeeding Phillip and more recently Holly.

Rylan is currently a guest presenter on the breakfast show alongside permanent presenter Josie Gibson.

His long odds will be welcome news for Rylan, who has had a tough year due to his mother’s poor health.

Rylan is currently a rotating presenter Monday to Thursday alongside Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rochelle Humes and Ben Shepherd.

However, it seems unlikely that the duo will stay permanently as Josie only has a 50/1 chance of replacing Holly.

The favorite to replace Holly is Loose Women’s Christine Lampard.

William Hill also revealed the four people who are hot on Rylan’s heels to replace Philip Schofield. At the top is Dermot O’Leary.

Dermot, 50, is best known for his previous presenting role on The X Factor. He currently co-hosts This Morning with Alison Hammond, 48, and bookies say he has a 3/1 chance of taking on the role permanently.

The father-of-one has been linked to This Morning since 2014, when he acted as Schofield’s replacement.

Dermot admitted in September that audiences might notice the awkwardness between him and Alison.

He said: “The presenters make a difference… if two people don’t get along, the viewers can see that.”

“Alison Hammond, my co-host, and I didn’t really know each other when we started working together, but now we’re like family. “I think it has something to do with honesty.”

An insider signed off on this, saying: “Alison and Dermot had a difficult start, they had very different levels of experience and came from very different places, but then they started to get on quite well.”

Marvin, 38, member of boy band JLS, runners-up on the fifth season of X Factor in 2008.

He previously presented This Morning during the summer holidays with his wife Rochelle.

William Hill says he has a 3/1 chance of taking the top spot, while Rochelle Humes, 34, was previously given a 10/1 chance of replacing Holly.

The pair currently co-host the popular BBC Saturday night game show The Hit List.

Separately, Rochelle has been a regular co-host of family favorite Ninja Warrior UK, which returns for its fifth season next year.

Marvin and Rochelle are a hit with viewers who can relate to their busy household – the couple share daughters Alaia-Mai, 10, and Valentina, six, and three-year-old son Blake.

They are favorites to succeed Willoughby and Schofield as hosts of Dancing On Ice in 2024 should Holly leave.

Although Stephen, 46, is best known for his presenting, he is also a magician.

He began his career as a presenter of various children’s television programs on CITV with magical themes, some without.

From 2006 to 2007, Stephen broke into mainstream television with Dancing On Ice: Defrosted.

He quickly began to gain popularity in 2007 when he became the presenter of Britain’s Got More Talent, a sister show to Britain’s Got Talent for artists who did not make it into the main show.

The moderator remained in this position until 2019.

Stephen officially became a household name when he began hosting the hit game show Catchphrase from its revival in 2013 to the present.

He was a guest presenter on This Morning from 2012 to 2013.

Stephen is also considered favorite to succeed Schofield as presenter of Dancing On Ice in 2024 should Holly stay.

Richard Madeley is 14/1 to replace Schofield, says William Hill.

It’s no surprise that Richard, 67, is on this list as he initially hosted the show alongside his wife Judy, 75, in 1988.

The couple left the show in 2001 to host their own, Richard & Judy, which ran on Channel 4 until 2009.
