An actress recorded a video before boarding an Azul Conecta flight, but it sparked controversy by criticizing the plane and making fun of a plane crash. The person who recorded it and shared it on social media was Giovana Fagundes, a comedian known on Instagram for her videos mocking men and their sexist attitudes.
Before boarding a Cessna C208 Caravan from Azul Conecta to Congonhas in São Paulo at Jacarepaguá Airport in Rio de Janeiro, she recorded a video on her Instagram (which has since been deleted) and said:
“Look at the size of the plane they said I was going to board. I go TecoTeco. I drive from Marília Mendonça to São Paulo. That’s why I’m doing this story, to tell everyone who loves me that I love you too.”
Because she made a joke about the plane and made fun of the death of Marília Mendonça, who died in a turboprop plane crash, albeit in circumstances that had nothing to do with the size of the plane itself, she was heavily criticized on social media, especially by fans of the Queen of Countryside.
Then a certain Giovana Fagundes, who describes herself as a comedian, boarded the SBJR in a Conecta plane, a Cessna Caravan, and released this pathetic video.

Hours later, Giovana announced through the press office that the speech had been taken out of context and that “the comment never diminished, mocked or mocked the singer or her death.” It was all about the single locomotive I wanted to board. Marília even followed me, she loved my work and we have already exchanged several messages directly.”
The actress warned that she would sue anyone who shared the video on social media as it allegedly led to loss of professional opportunities. However, it should be noted that the video was shared publicly by the young woman herself.
