Tallulah Willis explains why her family decided to go public with Bruce’s illness – 7 Days

During her most recent appearance on Drew Barrymore’s talk show on November 8, Tallulah Willis spoke to the host about family dynamics since her father, Bruce Willis, was diagnosed with dementia.

The 29-year-old also explained why her family has chosen to be completely transparent about the actor’s health. Die Hard and why she keeps the media informed.

“On the one hand, this is who we are as a family, but on the other hand, it is very important for us to raise awareness of this [à la maladie]. If we as a family can take something that we struggle with to help other people and turn it into something beautiful, that is very special to us.”

“Every time I visit my father’s house, I take a lot of photos – of everything I see, of the state of things. I’m like an archaeologist looking for treasure in things I never paid attention to. I saved all of his voicemails on a hard drive. I realize that I am trying to document myself, to put together a file for the day when he will be gone, to remember him and us.

There is no doubt that the Willis family is currently going through a difficult time. However, we feel that she has strong support and is ready to face anything and that is truly inspiring.
