247 Political activist for social and environmental causes and communicator Thiago Ávila announced on his social networks that he would carry out a humanitarian mission in Gaza, the scene of the ongoing Israelisponsored massacre of the population of Palestine in which more than 10,000 people died in last month.

“There are less than 17 hours left until I head to the Gaza border […] It is a great honor to stand with you to stop a genocide and create a new society in its place. Thank you for all the love and all the strength. “We will win,” Ávila wrote on his Instagram profile. The text is accompanied by a nearly tenminute video in which the activist explains the purpose of his trip.

With more than 250,000 followers on Instagram, Thiago Ávila has dedicated his life for 19 years to the wellbeing of a “wellliving society” where there is social and economic justice and a way of life in balance with the environment. In his video about the operation in Gaza, he explained that he could not comment on the logistics because he had already received death threats because of his stance against Zionism, but he would be in Egypt, in the south of the Gaza Strip. “I try to document the consequences of the conflict with Israel as best as possible.”

“May the truth prevail and advance, may everyone have access to what is happening,” he added. Ávila also shared that, in addition to documenting the war, his work will also involve working with people and humanitarian aid groups dedicated to saving the lives of civilians affected by Israeli attacks. He stated that he had already received inquiries and offers of support for this goal. Check out the video below:
