They made a surprise appearance at Derby Day last weekend.
And Matt Damon and his wife Luciana enjoyed an exciting trip to Melbourne to take part in the racing festivities.
The Hollywood star and his stunning wife were in the star-studded Lexus marquee during Derby Day as guests of radio presenter Lauren Phillips and her aviation tycoon fiancé Paul O’Brien.
They were also joined by Elsa Pataky, wife of film star Chris Hemsworth, one of Matt’s best friends.
The couple stayed at the Crown Casino and Resort, but were also said to have enjoyed Phillips and O’Brien’s hospitality at his Melbourne villa.

O’Brien owns a home in the upscale inner-city suburb of South Yarra, and on Sunday evening the group dined at local Chinese restaurant Pacific Seafood BBQ House.
The Cantonese eatery is a local institution known for its delicious Peking duck and fresh lobster.
Meanwhile, Luciana was dressed by Australian star designer Rebecca Vallance on race day.
Vallance told Chron Australia she worked with stylist Suzy Eskander to create the perfect look for the stunning brunette.
The dress, which was inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 1920s/30s, featured hand-placed beads on the front and back, which were individually hand-riveted onto the garment and took 12 hours to complete.

The creation is made from bonded crepe fabric and a 13-panel boned bodice for support and structure to the bodice.
Vallance said it was a pleasure to work with Luciana.
“It was wonderful getting to know her. She was beautiful and looked incredible in the dress. “She was really excited to be in Melbourne to attend Derby Day and have a fun and relaxing day at the races,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lauren denied Matt was “harassed” when he made a shocking appearance at Derby Day on Saturday.
Despite the stir the pair caused on race day, Lauren told KIIS FM on Wednesday that Jase and Lauren had behaved very well.
“A lot of people came [up] to him. But no, it’s a great sport. “He’s happy to talk to anyone who wants to talk to him,” Lauren said of the Oscar winner.
She explained that her group had decided to stay in the Lexus marquee for most of the day.
“We didn’t walk around much. “We arrived at the Lexus marquee and pretty much stayed there,” Lauren added.
The radio star confirmed that Matt had no commercial agreement with Lexus and added that organizers had no idea he was their “guest” that day.
‘She [Matt and his wife] were not paid. They just came out. We had a lot of friends [there]” she confirmed.
“They love the horses and they love Melbourne, so I was excited.”
Lauren explained that she gave Matt and Luciana a tour of Melbourne, including the Gimlet restaurant, one of the city’s poshest restaurants.

Lauren also took the couple to karaoke for a night out on the town.
Matt surprised racegoers when he was spotted in Flemington on Saturday with Lauren, his wife Luciana and good friend Elsa Pataky.
The Bourne Identity star put on an animated show in a tailored suit and sunglasses and could be seen laughing and pointing as he walked wide into the race.
Matt is close friends with Elsa’s husband Chris Hemsworth and frequently visits Australia to spend time at their mega-mansion in Byron Bay.

In 2021, the actor lived in the country with his family for six months while filming a role for the latest Thor installment.
“I’m so excited that my family and I will be able to call Australia home for the next few months,” Matt said of the move at the time.
“Australian film crews are known worldwide for their professionalism and are a joy to work with. So the 14 days of quarantine will be worth it.”

Despite rumors of a move Down Under, Matt has denied he is leaving the US.
“Matt has visited Australia several times recently, but he has not purchased a home there nor is he moving there,” a representative previously said.
Matt is married to Luciana Barroso, 47, and the couple have three daughters together – Isabella, Gia and Stella.
The Good Will Hunting star is also the stepfather to Luciana’s daughter from her previous marriage, Alexia.
