“Martin Matte live”: Fabien Cloutier learns to swear less

Actor Fabien Cloutier, known for his short temper, admitted to Martin Matte on Thursday evening that he is working on controlling his anger and flowery language.

“I have to be wary of that,” he initially told the presenter, with whom he shared the screen in the series “Les beaux malaises”.

“The little everyday situations, the calls from people who aren’t doing things right; I have to make sure to say things more politely before I use, let’s say, as we used to say, coronations,” said the comedian, who is currently touring the province with his one-man show “Delicate.”

Hubert Proulx inspired Pouliot

The next season of “Léo,” which wrapped filming last year, will also be the last.

Fabien Cloutier didn’t have to look far to create the character of Richard Pouliot. He was particularly inspired by his actor and good friend Hubert Proulx, whom he met at the drama conservatory.

“It’s me who exposes ten Let’s,” replied the actor who plays him, and was also invited to the set of “Martin Matte Live” on Thursday evening, where he made a surprise appearance in a sketch.

“Sometimes it’s very hard to play, the air drums in the carpet… When I arrived the night of filming, I had to drink a six-pack to calm myself down,” he added to the joke, dressed in his wild turkey costume.

A return to the theater, but not immediately

During his appearance on “Martin Matte en direct”, Fabien Cloutier also confided to the presenter that he does not plan to return to the theater in the foreseeable future, but that he will not stop himself from returning there. “Maybe I’ll do it again. I don’t say never. We never know. […] I know the next one [projet]it may not be theater, but after that you never know,” he said during the “Questions on a Map” segment.

The “Léo” actor was also joined by the comedian and author Julien Corriveau, who offered him a song called “Chasseur Vegan”, which he composed in response to the teasing that Fabien Cloutier often gave him.

Comedian Maude Landry presented a report on the village of Montreal, produced with its mayor Mona de Grenoble.

Martin Matte en direct is presented on TVA on Thursdays at 8 p.m.
