Audemars Piguet | A concentrate from Offshore – WorldTempus

From the XXL escapades of his youth onwards, the piece has retained its power and is now controlled and mature. The new black and gold version should remind us of this. Its diameter of 43 mm confirms that we are dealing with an essentially masculine piece. The sporty focus is underlined by a Tricompax chronograph, which unfolds on a Méga Tapisserie motif that is as contemporary as the Offshore itself (the piece was created in 1993, the Méga Tapisserie in 2002). Technology is synonymous with aesthetics. The faceted case and bezel are extremely complex and are highlighted by special finishes. Materials, contrasts and volumes reinforce a strong and massive personality. Combining the power of gold and the hardness of ceramic, this Royal Oak Offshore isn’t there to negotiate: it’s assertive.

The editors liked it the aesthetic bias, without compromise. Preserving the offshore spirit, tamed and grounded. The chromatic and functional complementarity of gold and ceramic.
