Like hurricanes, blizzards or wildfires, Taylor Swift is now asking an airline to waive ticket change fees.

The pop star said she was postponing a show scheduled for Friday in the Argentine capital until Sunday due to heavy rain, writing on to bring the stage to the concert.”

The Chile account of LATAM Airlines, the largest airline in South America, reached out to customers on Sunday.

The Chie-based airline said it is waiving both ticket change fees and fare differences until Nov. 17, after Swift’s show at Argentina’s largest stadium was postponed, when travelers can fly at any time.

However, some customers complained to LATAM on social media that they had difficulty finding seats and that the airline had informed them of the waiver too late. The airline did not immediately comment on whether it was adding additional flights.

Airlines regularly offer additional flights for events such as high-profile concerts, conferences such as CES or sporting events.

But waiving the change fee when a concert is canceled or postponed is very unusual, industry executives told CNBC, and is also a sign of how much their tour is boosting bookings. While it may be a new era for airline exemptions, the Eras Tour has also impacted other industries such as hotels.
