The Galaxy Jump 3 is the latest and greatest 5G business smartphone on the KT network, according to Samsung South Korea – but it’s also clearly the leaked device under the Galaxy M44 name before its launch.
The main clue to its alternate identity can be found in the Jump 3’s model number (SM-M446KZKAKTC). So it’s Samsung’s mysterious new device, the Samsung Snapdragon 888. The OEM doesn’t mention the SoC directly, although the “CPU speed” information (2.84 GHz, 2.4 GHz or 1.8 GHz spread over 8 Cores) as listed on his new product’s page give an idea of the situation.
The Galaxy M44 even has a 120Hz FHD+ display, just like the Galaxy S21 in which the 888 debuted – so it’s a bit of a shame that it has an IPS display with a waterdrop notch. water, not to mention the unique 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage configuration.
The M44 Jump 3 is powered by a 5,000mAh vanilla S21 processor and even features a triple rear camera setup. But again, only one of them packs a decent 50MP camera, while the others each come with a 2MP sensor.
Due to its status as an enterprise device, the smartphone currently does not have an individual price tag. Still, it would be interesting to see what the retail price of such a device will be in the near future. For comparison, a 6GB M34 5G (with AMOLED display) started at INR 24,499 when it launched in India (though it is 32% off at Amazon today (November 11, 2023).
