How should fantasy managers handle the injuries to the Bengals’ star WRs?

Stephania Bell explains how fantasy managers might handle injuries to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins ahead of Week 10.

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official Sunday inactives should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 8 a.m. ET for the Germany game, 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

9:30 a.m. ET

Alec Pierce, WR, IND – Active
Impact: Pierce should return to his normal workload against Germany on Sunday.

Josh Downs, WR, IND – Active
Impact: Expect Isaiah McKenzie to see a lot more action as Downs hasn’t practiced all week and may take a “quick count” today.

Demario Douglas, WR, NE – Active
Impact: He will play, but Kayshon Boutte is also active (finally!), so there may not be enough targets for Douglas to warrant a fantasy start.

DeVante Parker, WR, NE — OUT OF
Impact: He didn’t travel with the team, leaving the door open for Jalen Reagor to get some looks.

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Keaton Mitchell, RB, BAL – Questionable
Impact: Mitchell is expected to play with Gus Edwards and share carries.

Ja’Marr Chase, WR, CIN – Questionable
Impact: Both Stanley Morgan and Shedrick Jackson were removed from the practice squad. That’s not a good sign here. It will likely be a last minute decision.

Tee Higgins, WR, CIN — OUT OF
Impact: Trenton Irwin would be the Bengals receiver who would claim waivers.

Marquise Goodwin, WR, CLE — OUT OF
Impact: WR David Bell is also injured, so Cedric Tillman is in a good spot to make a move.

Robert Woods, WR, HOU – Questionable
Impact: He’s expected back this week, but how many snaps he sees remains a question mark.

Nico Collins, WR, HOU — OUT OF
Impact: The duo of Tank Dell and Noah Brown have been impressive lately.

Dameon Pierce, RB, HOU — OUT OF
Impact: Devin Singletary fared well in Week 9 without Pierce in action.

Ka’imi Fairbairn, K, HOU — OUT/IR
Impact: Matt Ammendola has signed with the team to handle kicking duties, likely through at least Week 14.

Zay Jones, WR, JAX — OUT OF
Impact: Once again, it should be the “Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk Show” for the Jaguars.

Justin Jefferson, WR, MIN — OUT OF
Impact: Although his window to return from IR was set in motion this week, the receiver clearly isn’t ready just yet.

Jaren Hall, QB, MIN — OUT OF
Impact: Joshua Dobbs will start in Week 10 and will most likely be around for many more weeks. Hall could be Dobbs’ backup down the road once he clears the league’s concussion protocol.

KJ Osborn, WR, MIN – Questionable
Impact: His practice time only increased as the week went on and he completed the league’s concussion protocol. Still, it will probably depend on how he feels this morning.

TJ Hockenson, TE, MIN – Questionable
Impact: All signs point to Hockenson not only playing but thriving in Week 10.

Michael Thomas, WR, NO – Expected to be played
Impact: Due to reports of an off-field incident involving Thomas, the Saints are currently still planning to have him play in Week 10.

Kendre Miller, RB, NR — OUT OF
Impact: Jamaal Williams is currently the primary replacement for Alvin Kamara.

Treylon Burks, WR, TEN — OUT OF
Impact: Nick Westbrook-Ikhine moves up the Titans’ target tree.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, TEN – Questionable
Impact: Active or not, Tennessee has already made the QB change to Will Levis.

4 p.m. ET games

James Conner, RB, ARI – Activated via IR
Impact: Expect him to return along with QB Kyler Murray. Both will be rusty, however, so proceed with caution.

Michael Wilson, WR, ARI – Questionable
Impact: With Murray back in the spotlight, Wilson’s value should only increase in the coming weeks.

Mack Hollins, WR, ATL — OUT OF
Impact: Drake London is ready to return. KhaDarel Hodge could be a “roll of the dice” for the flex.

Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, DET – Questionable
Impact: He’s still learning the new playbook and with rib problems limiting his practice, it’s unclear if DPJ will suit up. However, the Lions may be under some pressure in Week 10 as RB David Montgomery has been given the all-clear to return.

Curtis Samuel, WR, WSH – Questionable
Impact: He is expected to play, which should put a damper on fantasy managers looking to work with Jahan Dotson and Terry McLaurin.

Game on Sunday evening

No major fantasy-related injuries.
