247 Hamas fighters are showing creativity in their resistance to the Israeli regime’s invading forces in the Gaza Strip. According to a video posted on X by journalist Max Blumenthal, Israeli tanks were ambushed by militants in a coordinated action. Using an extensive network of tunnels, Palestine’s defenders armed with antitank missiles unexpectedly emerged to attack Israeli armored vehicles in northern Gaza.

Previous reports from Fox News suggested that Palestinian fighters staged a significant ambush that left nearly 20 Israeli soldiers dead. Street fighting intensified in Gaza City, with Hamas using its strategic tunnel network to surprise and defeat invading forces.

Hamas’s resistance comes despite Israel’s intense bombing of the coast of Gaza City, a densely populated area. The military wing of the Palestinian movement, the AlQassam Brigades, said on Saturday (12) that it had attacked more than 160 units of Israeli military equipment since the start of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip.

However, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) units, supported by armored vehicles, continue to advance the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip from multiple directions.

CONTINUED AFTER RECOMMENDATIONS

After encircling Gaza City, Israel focused its airstrikes and ground operations on the tunnel networks used by Hamas militants, essential to their defense and resistance operations. On Saturday, the IDF announced that it had demolished more than 150 tunnels and underground complexes used by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said.

The IDF also said it had taken control of 11 Palestinian movement military posts since the ground operation began in Gaza.

On October 7, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel from Gaza, killing and kidnapping people in neighboring Israeli communities. Israel responded with rocket attacks and a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip, home to more than 2 million people. On October 27, Israel launched a fullscale ground assault in Gaza with the stated aim of eliminating Hamas and freeing hostages.

On November 5, Israel announced that its ground forces had advanced deep into the northern Gaza Strip all the way to the coast, effectively dividing the Palestinian enclave in half.

An Israeli tank commander killed during the invasion of Gaza previously described being ordered to bomb Israeli homes at Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7. His claim that he conducted “checks” to ensure there were no Israelis in the houses makes no sense. It is becoming increasingly clear that on October 7th. many Israelis were killed by friendly fire.

The Israeli invasion commander was killed in a massive ambush by Palestinian defenders. Western media refuses to show images of Israelis suffering casualties in Gaza, just as they refused to show viewers Qassam fighters who stormed Israeli bases on July 10
