According to reports, a 17-year-old student from Las Vegas was beaten to death by a group of about 15 students near his high school Fox News.
Jonathan Lewis died last Tuesday, nearly two weeks after he was violently attacked outside Rancho High School.
His father, who shares the same name as the victim, hopes his son’s death will make young people think about violence.
“Half the time, teenagers don’t even know what they’re doing,” he said. I love my son with all my heart and cannot imagine such violence.”
Investigators told the victim’s family that they plan to file charges against “several students involved in the murder.”
The Las Vegas police investigation is still ongoing.
