The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to see an influx of new fans at games after interest in tickets surged following Taylor Swift’s speech to boyfriend Travis Kelce in Buenos Aires.
The 33-year-old pop star caused Swifties to have a meltdown when she changed the lyrics to hit song “Karma” and added a few words about her NFL star boyfriend, who was watching with her dad in a VIP tent on Saturday night.
Swift sang “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight to my house” to replace the original lyric: “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight to my house”.
Like most things the couple does, it sent social media into a frenzy and caused a spike in Google searches for tickets to a Chiefs game – where Swift was regularly spotted before her winning tour resumed.
Fr-CasinoSpot’s analysis of Google search data revealed that online searches for “Chiefs tickets” exploded by 150 percent worldwide following the shoutout.

But it seems some Swifties still have no idea what she was referring to in the song, as searches for “What is Chiefs” saw a whopping 289 percent increase worldwide.
In addition to searching for tickets, global interest in searches for “Kansas City Chiefs” jumped 496 percent after the concert, proving how interested Swift fans are in learning more about Kelce’s team.
