Israeli defense minister says terror group Hamas has ‘lost control’ of Gaza .com

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Monday (13) that Hamas had “lost control” of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian territory ruled by the terrorist movement for 16 years and the target of an Israeli operation.

“Hamas has lost control of Gaza. Terrorists flee south. Civilians are looting Hamas bases,” Gallant said, without providing any evidence. Civilians “no longer believe in the government” of Hamas, the minister added in a video shown on Israel’s main television channels.


The Israeli army previously reported that its troops in Gaza City were attacked by “a terrorist group.” [do Hamas] “hid among a group of civilians at the entrance to a hospital” and retaliated, killing 21 Palestinians.

The military spokesman said its troops were attacked with gunfire and rocket launchers at the entrance to AlQuds Hospital in Gaza City. On its account on X, formerly Twitter, the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) published images of a terrorist armed with a rocket launcher (see below).
