During his attendance, the comedian and former vet revealed the reasons why he decided to step away from Bye Bye despite his commitment to the project.
“François, in conclusion I would like to say that you have participated in the last three editions of Bye Bye. “You decided not to come back this year (…) Why did you decide to pull the plug on a show that is watched by almost 5 million viewers?” asks host Guy A. Lepage.

“That and that Bye Bye! I liked that very much. It’s so great, the team is fun. It’s just that I’m running out of time. I was forced to make decisions. Then my great passion is the stage and I was obsessed with the idea… because I spoke to Martin Matte, I spoke to François Morency. I have spoken to many comedians who have appeared in series. Then they couldn’t occur at the same time. It is a matter of time. I said to myself: I don’t want that. I really want to be on stage at the same time. So I’m currently planning my next one-man show, I’ll do it twice a week. I’m also writing a second season of Bad weather. Basically you need… You really have to have a monk plan to do this and have time with the kids. I had to say no. But saying Bye Bye to me was a gift. Really!” reveals François Bellefeuille.
We’ll see the comedian at the next Bye Bye! certainly miss it.
You can watch Temps de chien on ICI Tou.tv from November 16th and on ICI Radio-Canada Télé in January.
A series that is hardly lacking in bite!
