(CNN) – The full trailer for Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire” promises an adventure in another world.
The official synopsis for the Netflix film says: “After crash-landing on a moon in the far corners of the universe, Kora (Boutella), a stranger with a mysterious past, begins a new life in a peaceful farming community.” But soon it will to their only hope of survival when the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discover that the farmers have unknowingly sold their crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman) and Ray Fisher). Leader of a savage band of insurgents hunted by the Mother World.”

The film will premiere on the platform on December 22nd.
“Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver” will be released on April 19, 2024.
The film also stars Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins.
The director’s cuts of both parts of “Rebel Moon” are also streaming on Netflix.
