NASA recently released images of a galaxy cluster nicknamed the “Christmas Tree” because of the many colors seen there.
By overlaying infrared data from the James Webb Telescope and visible light from the Hubble Telescope, the space agency was able to create a panchromatic image that provides one of the most comprehensive views of our universe ever seen.

This “cosmic Christmas tree,” whose real name is MACS0146, is 4.3 billion light-years from Earth. These are two galaxy clusters that are currently merging.
