New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers seemed to suggest that those who believe his return from a ruptured Achilles tendon is too soon simply don’t have the imagination to imagine major medical advances.
Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers decided to return to online chatter, claiming that the quarterback was never actually injured in the first few plays of his career with the Jets.
“The same people who are talking about this and considering the possibility of a conspiracy over my Achilles heel can’t possibly imagine a world in which anything could have anything to do with this beautiful, experimental gene therapy, could have any problems with it,” Rodgers said. 39.
Rodgers added that he is aware that he could retire in the coming years and wants to return to center as quickly as possible.
“All those great minds out there, let me just shoot you straight.” “There aren’t many people who find themselves in a situation as unique as mine,” he said.

“I got injured on the first ride of the season, I don’t want to give up, I want to come back… My mindset the morning after the injury was that I’m going to try to do something no one has done before.”
He added: “My time is coming to an end.” I don’t have as many years left as one [Warriors star] Klay Thompson or some of these great athletes who were injured early in their careers. I want to get back on the field.”
Rodgers’ comments likely referenced a comment on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” in which a show member, Billy Gil, asked, “Is it crazy to wonder if?” [Rodgers] Didn’t he ever actually tear his Achilles tendon?’
Le Batard answered himself: “I would be willing to seriously refute the conspiracy theory.” Better than the theory that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a propaganda concoction by the NFL to boost ratings.
“To disprove the conspiracy theory that since Aaron Rodgers went into the retreat of darkness, all he has found in the darkness is: ‘I absolutely must come back to defeat science.’
Although Rodgers has been sidelined since Week 1, the four-time league MVP has maintained that he wants to return to action this year.
