Tragic Death of Adam Johnson: Arrested Man Released on Bail

The man arrested on Tuesday in connection with the tragic death of hockey player Adam Johnson during a game between the Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers on October 28 has been released on bail.

Sheffield Police announced this in a short press release.

“The man arrested yesterday (November 14) on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Nottingham Panthers player Adam Johnson has been released on bail. Our investigation continues and we will provide further details as soon as we can. »

The day before, the arrest of a man had caused quite a stir, and although some media outlets had claimed that the suspect was player Matt Petgrave, whose skate slit Johnson’s throat during the game on October 28, his Identity never confirmed.
