Joe Bidens son wants the justice system to force Trump

Joe Biden’s son wants the justice system to force Trump to release certain documents

Hunter Biden asked the American judiciary on Wednesday to force Donald Trump to produce certain documents. The Democratic president’s son claimed political motives were at the heart of the investigation that led to his trial on illegal gun possession charges.

In a motion filed in an East Coast court in Delaware, Joe Biden’s son is demanding that Donald Trump produce certain documents, including official records. The same request also affects three former senior Justice Department officials under Donald Trump, including his former secretary Bill Barr.

Joe Biden’s 53-year-old son is accused of lying while filling out forms to purchase a firearm in 2018 in which he denied drug addiction that he later admitted.

In early October, he pleaded not guilty during his public arraignment in federal court in Delaware, the Biden family’s home state, before being released.

In Wednesday’s filing, Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell believes there is enough evidence that Donald Trump exerted “relentless, inappropriate and partisan pressure” on Justice Department officials for Hunter Biden to be investigated.

“Mr. Trump has made a plethora of troubling public statements calling for an investigation or possible prosecution against Mr. (Hunter) Biden, both while the billionaire was in the White House and since his departure, the lawyer adds

Abbe Lowell specifically quotes several tweets from the former Republican president and a passage from a recent book by Bill Barr. In it, the man who was Donald Trump’s attorney general until December 2020 says that two months before his resignation and shortly before the presidential election, he was asked by the president about the status of the investigation against Hunter Biden.

Hunter Biden, Republicans’ favorite target, and his legal concerns are a thorn in the side of his father and his re-election hopes in 2024.

On September 12, elected Republicans, who have a majority in the House of Representatives, initiated impeachment proceedings against the Democratic president.

They accuse Hunter Biden of making questionable deals in Ukraine and China using his father’s networks and name, but presented no evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden.

The son of the American president will not be prosecuted in connection with his foreign policy affairs, despite allegations from Republicans.
