Carrie Bickmore has shared a poignant tribute to toddler Henry Darvell, who died of brain cancer aged just three.

The former Project star, 42, paid a loving tribute to Henry and actor Johnny Ruffo, who both passed away in the last two weeks.

Carrie shared sweet photos of Henry and Johnny and wrote: “Two beautiful souls have died of brain cancer in the last two weeks.” “Henry was only 3. Johnny was only 35.”

Carrie explained that she is taking part in the world’s toughest half marathon, Hobart’s Point to Pinnacle, with the Carriesbeanies4braincancer team.

Carrie explained she hadn’t planned on asking for donations, but the couple’s shocking deaths encouraged her to ask her followers for a few dollars.

“I didn’t want to ask for money because I know times are tough right now.” “But Henry and Johnny remind us to just ask,” she wrote.

She went on to say that her courage was worth donating to help find a cure for the devastating disease.

“In loving memory of Henry and Johnny – and the many others taken from us too soon in this fight,” she said tenderly.

Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer is a leading fundraising and clinical trial charity in Australia, founded by Carrie.

The topic is close to Carrie’s heart as she lost her husband Greg Lange to the disease.

Greg tragically passed away in December 2010 at the age of 35 as a result of a ten-year battle with brain cancer.

Despite his terminal condition, they married in 2005, when Bickmore was just 25, and had a son, Oliver.

Carrie said the birth of their son was the best thing they ever did together.

After Lange’s death, she continued his legacy by founding her own charity, Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer, which she announced during her Gold Logie acceptance speech in 2015.

In 2012, Carrie entered into a relationship with executive producer Chris Walker, from whom she recently announced her separation.

In addition to raising Carrie’s son Oliver together, the couple also have two daughters together, Evie and Adelaide.
