Royal insiders are contradicting Harry and Meghan biographer Omid Scobie’s claims that Prince William ignored his brother’s calls while the Queen lay dying – with the allegations coming just hours after the “cordial” phone call between the Duke of Sussex and King Charles on the occasion of her 75th birthday

Royal insiders have addressed claims that Prince William ignored his brother’s calls as the late queen lay dying at Balmoral last year.

Royal courtiers are said to be furious at claims made by Harry and Meghan’s biographer Omid Scobie, who claims the Prince of Wales ignored the Duke of Sussex’s calls as he rushed to the Queen’s bedside in Scotland in September last year.

A royal insider told the Mirror: “No matter what happens behind closed doors, even at a time of such great pain and suffering, it seems like it will one day come to light when it comes to the royal family.”

“Nothing is off limits as William and Kate appear to be this author’s main target.” It only takes a few months for the knives to appear again and the wounds to be opened.

In an excerpt from his latest book, Endgame, Mr Scobie claims that Prince Harry was “kept in the dark” about the Queen’s health in the hours before her death and that Prince William feels he has “lost Harry and this too doesn’t do it.” I want to know this version of him.

Mr Scobie, who previously published a biography of the Sussexes called “Finding Freedom”, said Harry, 39, and his wife Meghan, 42, had “no idea” that the royal family was preparing for death last year the queen prepared.

In “Endgame,” Mr. Scobie recounts how the Sussexes had visited the United Kingdom for a series of engagements in September 2022 when the palace announced that Queen Elizabeth had been ordered by her doctors to rest.

He writes: “The next morning, the Sussexes had no idea that Buckingham Palace was already planning the Queen’s final hours and the first days of the monarchy’s new era – until the Duke’s phone started ringing.” An unknown number. He usually ignored them.”

Meghan told her husband to pick up the phone, and he answered the call “just before it ended,” the author wrote.

He continues: “Harry hadn’t spoken to his father much that year, but this was not the time for tension between father and son.” Charles told him that he and Camilla were leaving Dumfries House for Balmoral, where Princess Anne was already was at the queen’s side. He told Harry to set off for Scotland immediately.’

Harry texted his brother William asking how he and Kate were planning their trip to Scotland and whether they could travel together, but received no response, Mr Scobie claims.

He was later told that Harry had managed to secure a flight with his uncles Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

“It was disturbing to witness,” a source close to the Sussexes claimed, Mr Scobie said. ‘[Harry] was completely on his own.’

Omid Scobie’s claims from his new book Endgame.

  • William ignored Harry when he asked how he planned to get to Scotland;
  • He eventually booked a £30,000 charter flight from Luton to Aberdeenshire.
  • Charles told him to come without Meghan. Source claims she is “not wanted”;
  • Harry had “no idea” what was going on at Balmoral when his plane took off;
  • But “sources” informed the newspapers that Charles had personally informed his son;
  • William believes Harry has been “brainwashed by an army of therapists.”

Mr Scobie claims that palace “sources” informed certain newspapers that Charles had personally broken the news of the Queen’s illness to his son. He quoted a friend of the Duke’s as saying that Harry was “devastated” by this.

Journalists make new claims about William and Harry’s damaged relationship.

The author also points out that the relationship between William and Harry is beyond repair as the Prince of Wales sees his brother as a “turncoat.”

And in the excerpt shared with People, he claims “there is no turning back” for the brothers and “absolutely nothing has changed” since the Duke of Sussex released Spare earlier this year.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman declined to comment on Endgame, due out on November 28, when contacted by Web.

The latest bombshell allegations come just hours after Harry and his father had a “warm” phone call to mark his 75th birthday.

It is believed that Harry called his father to wish him a happy birthday on his special day yesterday – believed to be the estranged royals’ first phone conversation in six months.

King Charles and Harry reportedly had minimal contact for months, particularly since the release of Harry’s memoir “Spare,” released in January, and a Netflix series released a month earlier.

Meghan Markle is also said to have spoken to her father-in-law to pass on her wishes from California. And the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, recorded a video of themselves singing happy birthday to their grandfather, the Telegraph newspaper reported.

The report said Charles and Harry would speak again next week after their call marked a “change in tone” and a “turning point” between the two.
