The Montreal City Police Department will set up a command post in Longueuil on Thursday to try to find witnesses to the disappearance of Félicien Laforce, an 81-year-old man who has been missing since mid-December 2022.

A mobile command post will be stationed at the corner of Roberval Boulevard West and Richmond Street in Longueuil starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. “Investigators are inviting anyone who may have witnessed his disappearance to visit the scene,” the SPVM said in a press release.
Félicien Laforce has been missing in Montreal since mid-December 2022. He was last seen near the intersection of Chemin de Chambly and Boulevard Vauquelin in Longueuil.
The octogenarian speaks French, is 171 cm tall and weighs 77 kg. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
When he disappeared, he was wearing a dark hat, a dark winter coat with a fur collar, dark pants and black winter boots, the SPVM states.
He gets around on foot and by public transport. He appears to be suffering from cognitive impairment.
