Israel bombs Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s home

According to the Israeli Defense Forces, the address in Gaza was used as a meeting point; However, the leader of the paramilitary group lives in Qatar

Israeli warplanes bombed the house of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday (11/16/2023). The information was released by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). No possible deaths or injuries were mentioned.

In the post on XThe military stated that “the residence was used as a terrorist infrastructure and meeting point for senior Hamas leaders to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel.”

Haniyeh has been at the head of Hamas since 2017 but lives in Doha, the capital of Qatar. In October, he said in a speech that “the people of Gaza are deeply rooted in their land and will not leave.” He criticized Tel Aviv’s closure of the Gaza Strip’s borders and Israel’s relationship with Arab countries.
