Karl Tremblay died Wednesday night at the age of 47, just months after he moved the entire province of Quebec in his final performance at the Quebec Summer Festival.
“Since I was 22, my heart has beaten to the rhythm of the Cowboys. They push us to think, introspect and improve. Quebec now has its shooting star. Thank you for the Quebec you have been able to build through your music,” Quebec Mayor Bruno Marchand said on social media Wednesday.
There @villequebec will fly its flags at half-mast tomorrow to highlight the cultural legacy of Karl Tremblay. A great man who has shaken up the Capitale-Nationale region more than once.
