The products are being voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer Kilitch Healthcare India Limited. The recalled products include all lot numbers and have an expiration date between November 2023 and September 2025.
The FDA said the manufacturer will notify its distributor, Velocity Pharma LLC, which will notify retailers and wholesalers of the voluntary recall and coordinate the return of affected products.

Users of these eye drops, which are intended to be sterile, had “a potential risk of eye infection or related harm,” but so far the manufacturing company has not received any “reports of adverse events related to this recall,” the FDA said.

People who have signs or symptoms of an eye infection after using these products should talk to their doctor or seek medical attention immediately, the FDA says.
