Lula regrets the deaths of the Portuguese in Gaza and calls for urgent repatriations Check

Lula said Brazil would “leave no one behind.” The president assured that the government would make every diplomatic effort to repatriate the Brazilians and their families remaining in the Gaza Strip.

As long as there is a list and there is a possibility that we can remove a person from the Gaza Strip, even if it is just one person, we will be available to send people. We won’t let any Brazilian stay there […] Today is a day of joy for Brazil. We welcomed 32 returnees from the Gaza Strip, including Brazilian children and adults, as well as their Palestinian relatives. We will not rest until all those wishing to return are on Brazilian soil and the conflict comes to an end
