Following the announcement of Karl Tremblay’s death, a number of initiatives were announced in his honor.
In addition to the large gatherings that will take place this Thursday evening, L’Assomption Park will be renamed and the Legault government’s offer to organize a national funeral in memory of the immortal singer of the Cowboys Fringants, Montreal International Airport I also contributed to this with a good idea.

This isn’t the first time the airport has changed its sign to honor a great Quebecer.
Guy Lafleur also received such an honor after his death in April 2022.
