Speaking about her daughter’s lifestyle compared to her own in her early 20s, Kate told the publication: “She’s now left the nest and secured her own apartment in downtown New York, but in my eyes she’s still so young .”
“I feel like I’ve already had a few lives at Lila’s age.” I had gone abroad. I had one serious boyfriend – and moved on to the next. In many ways, however, Lila is much more mature than I was in my twenties.
“Watching her build her career as a model takes me back to the ’90s when I was just starting out, but I know things will be different for her.” She understands, for one, that no can say what I never did and she has the right people around her – I made sure of that. And let’s be honest, she’s a lot more sensible than I was back then. I mean… thank God. Ha!
