Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega first appeared after falling in his farm’s swimming pool. The comedian is admitted to the SírioLibanês hospital in São Paulo, but has already left the intensive care unit. This Thursday (16), Renata Domingues, the artist’s wife, showed how he is doing.
The nutritionist posted a screenshot of a video call with the comedian via Instagram Stories. He appeared to be smiling as he spoke to his partner.
“He’s there in the hospital and I’m here. But our beautiful day together should not be missed. I love it,” Renata wrote. On Tuesday (15th) she confirmed to the program A Tarde É Sua on RedeTV! that Nóbrega was still under observation and should be released by Friday (17th).
The accident occurred when Nóbrega was leaving the swimming pool. He hit his head on a stone and his face was swollen. However, the SBT employee did not want to go to the hospital.
On Sunday (12) Nóbrega began to feel dizzy. Renata stated that the comedian was suffering from labyrinthitis and was unsure at the time whether the symptom was caused by the fall. The couple only returned to their residence in Alphaville, in the greater São Paulo area, that night.
“I forcibly put him in the car and took him for a CT scan. When we got there, to our surprise, there were actually two bleeding spots in two regions of the brain. He was very scared, his jaw dropped,” said Nóbrega’s wife.
The comedian was then hospitalized. “It was actually confirmed that he had a hemorrhage, a traumatic brain injury with two points of injury. He is under observation in Sírio to reduce the amount of blood inside since he cannot be released in this way,” he continued.
