The UAE Global Media Congress influenced the future of the industry

Abu Dhabi, November 17 (Prensa Latina) The opportunity to build strategic alliances and share the work of companies in the communications sector with the world confirms today the leading position that the Abu Dhabi Global Media Congress occupies as an innovative space.

From November 14th to 16th, almost 24,000 people, including visitors, guests and exhibitors, were able to see first-hand how the future of the press and communication in general is shaping up in the face of the rapid pace of digital transformation.

From day one of the global media event, the importance of harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in data analysis to improve content selection strategies and the potential of technology in audience monitoring was demonstrated.

Another key theme of the meeting was the challenges posed by the spread of misinformation, for which industry leaders proposed a number of effective measures to combat.

For three days, the National Exhibition Center in the Emirati capital hosted the most important industry leaders, specialists and influencers from around the world, as well as academics, young people and university students.

The event confirmed the importance of innovation, creativity and ethical journalism in shaping the future of the media industry.

According to Emirates News Agency (WAM) Director General Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, the Global Media Congress is unique because it brings together people from all over the world and promotes communication and mutual learning.

This exchange, he stressed in press statements, consolidates the UAE’s position as an important global center for advancing the future of the media industry and laying the foundation for its productive growth, serving the world’s economies and societies.

The communication event, which was also attended by a delegation from the Latin American information agency Prensa Latina led by its president Luis Enrique González, led, in addition to the signing of agreements, to meetings between companies and government representatives with innovative proposals.

One of the key moments of this edition was the launch of the Education Stage, Co-Production Majlis, Innovation Stage, NexTech and Future Media Lab platforms, which focus on exploring education and AI as drivers of the future development of the sector.

Organized by Adnec Group in strategic partnership with Emirates News Agency, the media forum was sponsored by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court.
