“The body of soldier Noa Marciano (…) was recovered by Israeli army troops from a building next to Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip and transferred to Israeli territory,” the army said in a statement.
On Monday, the Palestinian Islamist movement released a photo of the dead Noa Marciano, depicting her as “killed by an Israeli bombing.” His death was confirmed by Israel the next day.
This is the second hostage situation taken from the Gaza Strip in less than 24 hours, according to the army.
