Miss Universe 2023: Favorites, what time and how to watch them live on TV and online

(CNN Spanish) – The 72nd edition of Miss Universe is almost ready for its closing ceremony this Saturday, November 18, in El Salvador. Competitors will attempt to capture the crown currently held by American R’Bonney Gabriel.

The beauty pageant celebrates all cultures, origins and religions and creates a safe space for women to share their stories and create personal, professional and philanthropic impact, according to the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) itself.

It says that the women who participate in this platform serve as inspiring leaders and role models for their communities around the world.

The staging of this year’s gala was thrown into doubt days ago when JKN Global Group, the Thai company that owns Miss Universe, filed for bankruptcy. However, the company announced that the competition is taking place and assured that its priority is to provide its fans with a “first-class experience”.
