On a day of terror, when hundreds of young people were killed and kidnapped by Palestinian Hamas terrorists raiding Israeli territory on October 7, one man stood out for his courage and compassion.

Oz Davidian, a 52yearold farmer living in the village of Maslu, which is in a region near Israel’s border with Gaza, risked his life to save 120 young people who were trying to escape the rave party in Gaza Re ‘Region. im, which was the target of Hamas terrorists who mercilessly shot and massacred people.

With his truck, Davidian made around 20 trips between the party location, which was called Supernova, and the agricultural communities, where he brought the survivors he was able to save to safety. On each journey, the farmer changed his route to avoid the terrorists who controlled the main route through the region and attacked everything and everyone who moved there.

The dashboard camera images of Davidian’s truck released this Wednesday (15) show shocking scenes of destroyed cars, scattered bodies and shots fired. “Terrorists! Be careful!” Davidian said to those he had already rescued and who were sitting next to him in the car. At some point the farmer finds two terrorists next to the body of an Israeli soldier and is almost hit by their shots.

“It was a miracle that I survived. Every time I entered the party area, terrorists would appear, shoot at me, and hide. Once I saw two of them crouching on the ground. I thought they were saviors. Luckily, I looked again and saw them loading their weapons. They realized I was Israeli and I accelerated the truck and hit them both. I wanted to go back and overrun them again, but other terrorists opened fire and I ran away from there,” Davidian said in an interview on the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF) website this Thursday (16). an organization that brings together Israeli Defense Forces reserve officers.

During his heroic journey, Davidian also said that he rescued an Israeli army reserve officer who was at the party and had on his cell phone the places where other people were hiding. Together they returned to the party site, guided by the black smoke that blanketed the region, and saw “hundreds of bodies everywhere, on the road and in the fields” and “many cars some burned, others with flashing lights.” and corpses with gunshot wounds in cars.”

According to Israeli newspaper The Times Of Israel, Davidian said that the terrorists also “raped the female victims.”

“One raped, another shot, protected the first and watched him rape. You could see piles of bodies, one on top of the other, as if they had been together and had just been shot and fallen into the depths on top of each other. “Shooting,” he said.

He and the officer wrote down the names of each person they caught and allowed each person to quickly call their family members to say they were OK. Some of the young people rescued by Davidian appear in the images, hugging and relieved.

Davidian, a father of three, stopped only for a few moments at midnight to make sure his family, who were in the safe room of his home, was OK. At that moment, he met a friend at the gate of his farm who had two parents in his car looking for their children. Davidian then returned to the attacked group’s area to attempt to search for them and drove around until 7 a.m. but found no further signs of life there.

“When you see hundreds of dead and injured young people fleeing into the fields and terrorists shooting in all directions, you put everything aside, fear, family, and you will get them out of there,” the farmer explained in an Israeli interview Channel 13.

In an interview with the Israeli broadcaster, Davidian daughter Oriah proudly described her father’s act as an act of heroism.

“He was always my hero,” she said.

As reported on the IDSF website, Davidian has continued to help people in his country since the October 7 attacks. He volunteers to rescue animals from dangerous areas and transport supplies to army members fighting Hamas terrorists.

Davidian said in the interview with IDSF that he was “sad and angry” about the events in Israel.

“It’s difficult to talk about. I’m choking, so I try to say as little as possible,” he said. “But I give interviews because it’s important to me to tell the world what happened. I received many heartwarming messages from those rescued and their parents on Facebook and WhatsApp. Many of them are shocked. They find it difficult to talk to anyone [sobre o que aconteceu] and I’m the only person they trust to message and talk about it. A guy came to me with a gift a photo of us from the rescue. I also received a lot of messages from people I don’t know,” he told IDSF.

260 young people were killed at the rave party on the border when Hamas terrorists invaded Israel. In addition to the deaths, several other young people were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian group’s attack left 1,200 people dead in Israel, left thousands injured and sparked a new humanitarian crisis in the Middle East.

Israel is currently conducting a counteroffensive in the Gaza Strip with the aim of eliminating Hamas and freeing the 240 hostages still under the control of Palestinian terrorists who, according to Israeli authorities, are hiding under hospitals and using people as human shields.
