Ana Clara was 23 years old, studied psychology and lived in Rondonópolis, in Mato Grosso. She and her friend left the state to go to the first show of Taylor’s tour.

According to Daniele Menin, Ana’s boyfriend and who accompanied her at the show, the young woman began to feel uncomfortable during the song Cruel Summer, the second in the North American singer’s repertoire.

For the g1Her friend Daniele, who met Ana at college in Mato Grosso, says that they had planned to go to Rio de Janeiro together. They prepared for the show together, stood in line and were together when it all happened.

“In the second song she just fainted. Then we got them out with the help of the security guards and ran to the base in the stadium. They looked after her and took her to the ambulance,” Daniele remembers.

The death came on a day marked by high temperatures in Rio de Janeiro and criticism from fans of the organization of the event for denying entry to the public carrying bottled water. The singer herself even stopped the show to ask her fans for help after noticing people in the audience feeling sick.
