“The Palestinians deserve their own state and a future without Hamas. The images from Gaza of the deaths of thousands of civilians, including children, break my heart,” said American President Joe Biden in an editorial in the Washington Post.
“Gaza must never again be used as a platform for terrorism. There must be no forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza, no re-occupation, no siege or blockade, and no territorial reduction. “When this war is over, the voices and hopes of the Palestinians must be heard at the center of governance after the crisis in Gaza,” adds the American president.
