The latest announcement brings the total number of Israeli soldiers killed since the ground operation began in Gaza to 65.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released the names of two more soldiers killed in fighting in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday morning.
Captain (res.) Roey Biber was 28 years old and came from Tzur Moshe. He was team commander of the Yehalom unit of the Combat Engineering Corps and was killed in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Binyamin Meir Airly was 21 years old and came from Beit Shemesh. He was a fighter in the 101st Battalion of the Parachute Brigade and died fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.
Their deaths bring the total number of Israeli soldiers killed since the ground operation began to 65, 58 of whom were killed in fighting in the Gaza Strip.
